Scroll down and set an X and Y position that are on the second monitor - so set an X position larger then the width of the first screen. The second thing you need to do is click the 'Media' menu at the top and select 'Open Capture Device. Now there's really no point in posting this since somebody said a fix is on the way but I'm just wondering if there's anything else related to the issue i could try out. Choose 'All' in the 'Show settings' box at the bottom left of the preferences window. Is there anyway to stream the secondary monitor (extended monitor only) and also stream the correct webcam in my PC Also, the stream should output it as a JPEG files or other standard image files at around 1 frames per sec or less. To do this, open VLC, click the 'View' menu at the top, and select 'Advanced Controls.' Now, there will be recording options at the bottom of your screen. You can also open the Stream settings using the Ctrl + S shortcut. And then use just rtp://:port in vlc In this way the mpegtsmux will encapsulate information about what streams does it contains. To start, open the VLC media player, open the Media tab at the top left corner, and click on Stream. es allows you to make separate Elementary Streams (ES) out of an input stream. rtp streams over RTP (one UDP port for each elementary stream). Used with the duplicate module, this allows you to monitor the stream while processing it. The approach is to use rtp payloader after mpegtsmux which will payload the generated ts buffers (packets). display allows you to display the input stream, as VLC would normally do. I've tried a 4:3 Samsung LCD monitor on my computer and then the problem did not occur so I drew the conclusion that it must be some kind of conflict between ATI cards and (perhaps only samsung) TV's/widescreen monitors. VLC understand ts stream combined with RTP protocol. On the preferences window, go to the Video tab.Under the ‘Enable Video’ section, open the ‘Ouput’ dropdown and change the value from ‘Automatic’ to ‘DirectX (DirectDraw) Output. Using Windows 7 now but the problem has been with me throughout the years (XP/Vista/7), I've tried the TV with another computer which had the same problem but that computer also had an older ATI card. Open VLC player and go to Tools>Preferences, or use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+P. I have this problem with a 4870 X2 on a 32" Samsung HDTV, I've tried god damn well everything to make it work, including what has been said in this thread.
